Rail

There are two railway stations serving Dinas Powys: Eastbrook station to the north east of the community and Dinas Powys station to the south west.

Both stations are managed by Transport for Wales.

There are regular train services between Dinas Powys and Cardiff Central, with journey times of approximately 12–15 minutes. Cardiff Central provides connections to destinations throughout South Wales and the wider UK.

There are also services towards Bridgend, with stops including Rhoose (for Cardiff Airport), Llantwit Major and Bridgend.

Both stations provide passenger facilities including sheltered seating and electronic passenger information. Eastbrook station also has a car park.

Bus

A number of bus services operate to and from Dinas Powys, providing connections to Cardiff, Barry, Penarth, Llandough, Llantwit Major and surrounding areas.
