Dinas Powys is equipped with five publicly accessible defibrillators to help save lives in the event of a cardiac emergency. These life-saving devices are located at key points throughout the village, including on the side of Potter & Co – oppsite The Star on Station Road, Murchfield Community Centre, Dinas Powys Athletic Club, Nisa Local and outside on the side of Castle Court Dental care. Each defibrillator is registered with the The Circuit – the national defibrillator network and is accessible 24/7. In the event of an emergency, call 999 – the operator will guide you to the nearest unit and provide the access code if needed. We encourage all residents to familiarise themselves with the locations of these devices, as every second counts in an emergency.
